If your forgetfulness is forever getting you in trouble, then perhaps it's time for Notes On The Phone.
This free application, for Series 60 5th. Edition phones, allows you to post sticky notes to your screen to help you remember stuff. Once installed, Notes On The Phone is very easy to use. You simply select 'Add Note' from the Options menu, type your message then hit 'Save'. Your note will be pinned to the screen in the form of a Post-It-style label, which you can pick up and place where you want using the touchscreen. You can add a number of different notes and the program lets you overlap them. If you want to write a long note, it's not a problem because Notes On The Phone auto-scrolls text within a note.
Another great thing about Notes On The Phone is that you can choose your own image to use as a background to put the notes on.
On the downside, Notes On The Phone does still feel a bit limited. For instance, the only option you'll find in the Settings menu is one to set the delay interval between the notes being displayed on your screen. In the future, I'd like to see more editing features, such as the ability to add images and audio to notes, or to edit notes from inside the stickies themselves. It would also be nice to be able to schedule notes to appear in the future.
Despite these limitations, Notes On The Phone does offer a simple and attractive way of jogging your memory.
